We meet every second Monday of the month, at 7.30 pm, in Oulton Village Hall.
We are always happy to see new faces so do come along and enjoy a meeting with us.
As you will see from our programme for 2011/2012, below, we are entertained at most of our meetings by guest speakers who talk about a host of different subjects, such as practical ideas for the home, local history, environmental issues, natural history and many more subjects. Also, we hold craft evenings, visit places of interest and enjoy meals out.
We help to develop community spirit by involving the WI in the Oulton Village Fete each year in July and by hosting a Christmas lunch for older members of the community in December. On a weekly basis, we provide a trolley of sweets, etc. for purchase by residents in the Oulton Abbey Care Home.
If you are unsure about attending one of our meetings on your own, we always meet and greet all visitors to our meetings.
If you are new to the village, it is a great way to get to know other people.
