Ex resident Peter Brassington, who now lives in Australia, has kindly sent the Oulton Village website these photos.

They show the inaugural meeting of Oulton Cricket Club at the Wheatsheaf in the 1950s. Peter says that the fourth photo shows his father Fred Brassington, Mr Powell (former licensee at the Wheatsheaf), Mr and Mrs Pidduck and, he thinks Eric Simpson.
