Best Kept Vilage 2010 (December 03, 2009)After the success in gaining a "Highly Commended" award for our entry in Best Kept Village 2009, the Committee is looking for ideas and help in our entry for next years competition. At a meeting in November is was decided to postpone any decision until the next meeting in January 2010.. We are asking all residents to look to see if their is anything they can do to improve their immediate environment, whether it is tidying up their front gardens, pulling weeds from pavements or collecting those small pieces of litter on a regular basis. To win this award there has to be a collective community reponse and we would urge all residents to take part in this community event. We already know we live in a great village with a tremendous community spirit but a little more effort next year will secure this prestigous award.
