Our local Trading Standards Representative, John Poole, recently attended a meeting of Stafford Trading Standards. He has supplied the website with an example of signals used by cold callers, burglars and other undesirables to comunicate with each other. These are usually chalked onto the ground near properties or on telegragh poles and lamp-posts. Whilst there have been no incidences in Stone or Oulton, there have been in certain areas of Stafford recently.
