The OCG is a non-political group of volunteers who aim to improve amenities in the Village for young and older people, and to bring Villagers concerns to the attention of the appropriate authority.
It consists of a Committee of local residents and is supported by the Village Agent Scheme and Staffordshire Community Council, a charitable organisation which has achieved great success in supporting Community Projects in rural Staffordshire.
We meet regularly through the year to discuss issues which affect Oulton and its residents. If anyone has any concerns they can bring them up at the meetings or use the "Contact Us" and "GuestBook" pages of this website.
Minutes of those meeting will be posted on this site for the benefit of those who could not attend the meetings.
We have already secured funding for setting up this Website and administration costs. The committee take no remuneration and any funding raised will go directly into improving village amenities.
We are working on various projects at the moment which include the improvement of the footpath between the village and Stone (the Flash), the building and administration of the website, Best Kept Village and supporting the Village Hall in fundraising events.
This is the website for Oulton Community Group. Whilst every care is taken we act on information passed to us, and therefore cannot take responsibility for any inaccuracies herein.
